on whom is leaving early? Out of the Starters on defense if no player goes early we return 8 correct? On offense we should return 8? Am I way off?
Nothing official yet. but IMO, the following are gone. Webster - Nick told him that he is ready. Clayton - Nothing left to accomplish other than his degree. Mauck - See Clayton. Hill - Just have this feeling. That's the only Juniors that I fear losing.
clayton could make a heisman run next year.....he'll be back... Hill will leave.....he is a monster.. Spears is staying correct??? Webster is gone..he'll be a great NFL player...
if you are these guys, ask yourself the following question: Is it possible for LSU to be equally as successful next year, and for myself to be equally as successful? I think in Webster's and Clayton's case, they can be better. Mauck can make a legacy for himself. Hill would be the star of the line with Lavalais gone. It is tough to say, but you have a legitimate shot at being better and repeating...something that has been done very rarely in college football...I would stay. But if they do decide to leave, that is why we recruit...good luck to them!
I think it will be a lot harder next year, its never that easy... Especially if Matt leaves Hope I'm wrong! But we take on a different role now, Defending NC (except when we're on ESPN or ABC) People will be out to get us now
