You can update the storm coordinates to 29.9 N and 86.4 W... so it's getting closer to being due east of BR.
Check-Mate. Bob Breck just updated his blog 10 mins ago. In it, he said the storm has just made landfall in Destin, Fla http://bobbreck.blogspot.com/
We just got issued INLAND Tropical Storm warnings in addtion to the coastly areas. This is the Hammond Forecast from the Weather Channel. I do trust Bob Breck always have (ALOT better then good ole Nash) still gonna watch this one throughout the night.
Weather Channel just confirmed as well. Went on shore around Ft Walton and eventhough it is projected to make a more west path it will do so over land.
This thing is gonna pass to the north and east of Baton Rouge...with 90% of the convection in it's right half...so it may not even RAIN tomorrow in Baton Rouge. As it is now, it's nothing more than a tropical rainstorm, anyway...and everywhere it's affecting needs the rain in a big way. I sure hope it makes it to my area...I just planted food plots this week!
this is a weather-nerd question but does the NHC come out tonight and say that they made an error in their last advisory and change this to a tropical storm to boost up the numbers? because as the way this is now, this will never become jerry.
