Like Tebow or not, that was bush league, #55 should have been thrown out the game. Looks like he stomped on him twice.

 

No matter what any of us think of Tebow (and I see no reason to hate him, others on the poop board were calling him a "no-good home-schooled son of a missionary", as if that is something to denigrate) that is completely bush and warranted at least a 15-yard penalty and an ejection.

 

In the other Tebow thread I made the comment that his "cheering" on the field can get on nerves, but I have to admit he's an athlete and you can see his love for the game.

I agree with the assessments...as soon as I saw it my first thought was Marcus Vick.

 

You bring up a good point here. When they fired their last coach before Tressell, the reason they cited was the # of arrests/scandals that had surrounded his tenure. Tressell has surpassed that # already...

 

The real reason they fired John Cooper was his 2-10-1 record against Michigan.

 

Did #55 transfer from "The U"? That was pitiful. He should be disciplined by both the team and the NCAA. Release the hounds!:angryfire

 

Wow, looking at Mike Shula's disciplinary record I don't think any bama fan should criticize another school. There is no bigger joke in discipline this past season than the Simpson deal and his "ice cream" comment.

And I can give you an example of a much more flagrant hit. Go back to the last Auburn-bama game and watch what Terry Jones did after the clock expired at the end of the game and the Auburn QB took a knee. Jones walked over and openly whacked an Auburn player. Real class!!

 

I think you are exactly right...it's what I was alluding to...just didn't do as good of a job as you have.
