with some LSU references. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/columns/story?columnist=pasquarelli_len&id=2084193
surely you jest. who embraced whom? match made in heaven. :hihi: :hihi: :hihi: :hihi: I have to agree. He prolly read a few of these forums concerning baseball. :hihi: :hihi:
I thought this was the most telling quote from the whole thing......... "Now, don't get me wrong, the people there were great to me. From the guy who owned some little crawfish shack up to the man who maybe owned the biggest business in the state, they were all great to me. They did everything they could. But there came a point where I looked back at the national championship [atmosphere] and thought to myself, 'We can't ever go back to that point again.' That last year at LSU, and this was all about me, not all the people there, I knew it couldn't be the same. There was no more fear of failure and that's not a good thing." That's why he left for Miami.
So by what he just said there..... I guess once he wins a Super Bowl at Miami he is going to immediately retire because there is no fear of failure.
Should we have a separate Forum for Nick Saban posts and items? I think that it would be nice for us to have a special Forum just for him. The admins could call it The Nick Saban Eternal Man-Crush Flaming Forum, and we could visit there whenever we wanted to reminisce about the great things that he did for us. Others among us who want to keep up on Nick's daily pursuits could visit and post often to discuss all of the things that they like best about Nick.
See? If we had the NICK SABAN ETERNAL FLAMING MAN-CRUSH FORUM, then we could have entire threads discussing things like, *"Why I Hate Nick on Saturdays, but Love Nick on Tuesdays"; *"What color sweater does Nick look best in"; *"If Nick were a Tree, what kind of Tree would he be?"; *"Nick left us, but does he still Love us?"; *"If Nick offered to come back to LSU if you let him sleep with your wife, would you take that deal?"; *"If Nick offered to come back to LSU in exchange for one of your kidneys, would you take that deal?" *"If Nick offered to come back to LSU in exchange for 10 percent of the gross income of all LSU fans, would we take that deal?" *"If Nick released a CD recording of Nick signing his favorite Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin songs, would you buy 50 copies, just to make sure that the record went 'Gold'? * If Nick offered to come back to LSU if we killed all of his enemies, would you take that deal? And if in taking the deal, you committed some murders, would the Catholic Church consider those murders to be justified? See? We really need a separate Nick Saban forum. There's just too much Nick stuff to talk about to have it mixed in with the other stuff. PLEASE ADMIN PEOPLE, COULD WE PLEASE HAVE A SEPARATE FORUM AND CALL IT THE NICK SABAN ETERNAL FLAMING MAN-CRUSH FORUM
I really have no problem with a few posts about a man who won us 2 SEC Titles and a National Championship.
Work with me here . . . I'm trying to be comical and make people laugh. I'm not trying to be cynical, or to make fun of people (like me) who will always be grateful to Nick Saban.
