I tune in to watch Lake Charles in the LLWS and all I see is Barry and Biddie caterwauling about Bush. :po:

You missed a great five innings and a pitiful sixth inning. I feel so bad for that relief pitcher. Isn't he the same one who started crying on the mound during their game against Texas? The poor kid did horrible on the mound...lost the ball on a sure out that would have ended the game in the sixth...and then struck out on his next at bat.

Anyway...they did an outstanding job making it as far as they did. They represented the state very well and it was some good press for LSU at times.

First of all, I don't see the media calling Bush stupid, which is a damn shame being that our media is supposedly "liberal" (to make it worse, Bush had the American media eating out of his hand for the majority of his time as President of the United States of America -- where we you during all this?). Second of all, are you saying that you don't think Bush is stupid?

Are you saying that you think you're more intelligent than he is?

Salty, you could have done a better job than Bush, had you been born into his shoes (now I do respect Bush's dad, grandfather and the political-economic powerhouse dynasty they established).

Also, didn't you actually have a respectable career in the military... something Bush, Jr never did with his military career? (Now as for his dad, he's a military hero).

First of all it depends which media you are talking about, radio is conservative and cable tv networks and newspapers are liberal except Fox News.
    Here you go
    http://newsbusters.org/blogs/michae...imes-after-george-bush-we-need-president-head
    They also call him "W"
I would disagree, Bush was criticized after beating Gore in 2000, then the Iraqi war so you are wrong once again!

He seems to be pretty intelligent to me which makes me wonder how stupid the democrats are since he's beat them time and time again.
    Examples!
    1) Beat Gore in 2000
    2) Got the Dems to go along with him going into Iraq without a vote also.
    3) Beat Kerry in 2004
    4) Won the Iraq war, we now have time table to withdraw before leaving office when the dems claim it was an unwinnable war and wanted to retreat.
He wasn't like Johnson and left a disaster for Nixon.

I don't think he's stupid at all. I'll grant you that he's no public speaker, but since when does that make a person stupid?

You know, I find it hilarious that the same people who scoff at Bush for his "stupidity" are usually the same ones who denounce him as some kind of an evil genius who hoodwinked the American people into going to war. I know that most liberals don't get this concept, and never will, but the fact remains: YOU CAN'T HAVE IT BOTH WAYS.

Don't most think Cheney is the evil genius and Bush is just the face of the operation?
