I thought it was funny. I considered it a big ol' lugie in the eye of the NCAA. But that's just me.....
Gameday was ALL about Bama. A story on Shula and another story on their kicker. Much talk about Bama going undefeated and being left out of the BCS NC game. No LSU stories at all, just two clips of Jamarcus completing passes. LSU is completely under the ESPN radar. Reminds me of 2003. Corso picked LSU but mentioned THREE TIMES that LSU must bring its "A" game or they will not score a point against mighty Alabama. May the ESPN jinx be upon them.
Come on guys, they've been waiting for YEARS to have a reason to talk about the vaunted Bama program. It's like Krispy Kremes...they've gotta take advantage of it now, b/c Bama will be a non-story with two losses in a couple of weeks.
They did post one interesting set of numbers. Top 100 Blue Chip recruits now playing on AP top 5 teams: 1. Southern California = 30 2. Texas = 22 3. Alabama = 5 4. Miami = 18 5. LSU = 19
better than picking them to win but reminding everyone every chance they get that bama may in fact be a paper tiger (no offense intended to the true tigers). Talk about no-win for us. The more they pump up bama the better for us.
i thought corso sounded somewhat sarcastic when he was saying stuff about us not even getting a first down then when he put mike's head on i knew it was the case. i think he just didnt want the bama fans to boo him immediately like everyone else does
