    Amp was highly touted coming out of high school, but suffered the knee injury in the spring. He is almost at 100% and he is dressing for the sugar bowl. What kind of career do ya'll think Amp will have as a tiger.

    time will tell

    Only time will tell. Even though he is said to be 100%, we will have to see if he has the kind of confidence that he had before the injury.

    Let's not forget, he's 6'3" 205lbs. and was named to every All-American List out there. So, he has the credentials.

    He caught over 100 passes as a high school player and runs a 4.47 forty.

    We all will just have to wait and see though.

    Amp Hill will be a stud receiver for LSU before he is finished. In spring practice he was so impressive that many were talking that he would be the #2 receiver behing Clayton, ahead of Devery. Then he hurt his knee and was lost for the year.

    I just hope that he plays for more than 2 years.

    amp=stud

    There is NO doubt that amp will be a monster stud over the next few years.
    I also heard talk before his injury about him possibly starting over sky...and definately not redshirting this year, but with the injury, saban wanted to hold on to him for an extra year!
    who else is dying to see amp, jamarcus, and flynn on the field?? i cant wait!!

    Rip Rip Rip....Rap Rap Rap....

    Hill was not here in the Spring ..

    Two posters said he was injured in spring practice but Hill was in high school in Florida last spring! He was injured in Fall practice after making a great early impression on the coaches. He is taking a redshirt year and will likely have at least 3 years playing at LSU, not 2.

    I heard it is killing him to not be able to play, does anyone know if the JUCO guys (Wroten, Stevenson, Kuale) will dress for the Sugar Bowl, because they have been practicing.

    He blew out his knee in early August. Sorry for the confusion.

    I think Amp could be a Micheal Clayton or Devery Henderson type reciever. He is really big like both of those guys.

    I don't think the JUCO's are allowed by NCAA rules to play in a bowl game. That would mean they play JUCO and NCAA ball in the same year...

    I don't know if they can dress but they definitely can't play. And Hill will have 4 years left, not 2 or 3. He & Craig Davis will both be redshirted I think as Davis didn't play over the maximum minutes or whatever it is. Add Bowe & Early to the mix hopefully and we will be loaded. If Carter comes it would be unbelieveable and we would end up having a couple transfer out probably.
