Did anyone watch Amp Hill in warm-ups on Saturday? He looked pretty good to me. The cuts and the running looked pretty good along with the hands. I know he's not 100% yet, but if we can have him back for SEC play that will be great, to go along with our other studs.

I saw him out there as well. I can't wait to see him out on the field and playing. This kid has worked very hard and is deserving of some playing time. Wow, the wide receiver position is loaded. When they pick up on blocking schemes and start making blocks like Clayton would off the line, look out.

By the way, Welcome to the forum! :tigerhead :geaux:

We have to find a way to consistently put the ball in their hands first.

Amp looked very good in warm-ups saturday. After the game, he was some what upset that he did get to touch the field. But, I talked to him a little while ago and he said that the coaches told he to be patience and that the reason he didnt play saturday was due to the field conditions and the risk of reinjurying his knee in the sloppy condition. So, barring another rainy gameday, look for #1 out there saturday.

Just add another stud wideout to the mix.

Bowe is already nails. He proved it Saturday with those 2 back to back catches for the 2nd touchdown that eventually tied the game after the 2 pt conversion.

Did anybody read in the Picayune as to what Bowe told Russell just before those 2 plays? He told Russell that he was ignoring whatever the pass patterns that were being called for and would just "get open". Pretty damn amazing. A lot of cahunas for such a young and inexperienced kid. And it worked!

Doucet caused 2 back to back holding penalties on the DBs. Just wait til this week. He will have a breakout game.

Green will be back to his old self after he recovers from this nagging ankle sprain and some dry conditions prevail.

I don't think Buster Davis will be a very big factor this year. Not sure how much Carter will factor either.

But the other 3 will be the biggest contributors, come season's end. If Amp can make it 4, then watch out for this offense come SEC CG time.

Xavier was very upset after the game also. He was the second player out of the Jeff Boss entrance and had to be consoled my I guess his father and Uncle. He looked like he was going to cry at any moment and when my son was standing next to him waiting for his autograph one of the gentlemen were telling him to be patient also. He also might not have played due to the conditions and his ankle injury.
