Let's kick some ass! We all need to be thankful that the game is at least being played. Don't get me wrong, I'm pissed (especially since got tix for present) but we need to start getting ready for some football. Our LSU Tigers are going to hit the field in less than a week so let's get PUMPED! I sure hope you're right, buddy... I'm usually not a pessimist, but damn it, we're not going to the Rose Bowl this year. BUT, if we do, I say that LSU will go down as the greatest team in history as far as what they will have to overcome to get there...
Arizona State took advantage of LSU's misfortunes clearly. Apparently LSU had to do it Arizona State's way or cancel the game. I think the team will take a little payback from these guys. I think the Tigers will be pumped. They had a game postponed and then this game could have been cancelled. They will be elated that the game is going to be played. They are an undefeated top-10 team opening with a ranked contender. The whole season is ahead of them. The season is not wrecked. Auburn and Oklahoma are out of the NC race, LSU is not. The Tigers have their destiny in their own hands.
Red, I wondered how much of the stipulations on the move were ASU being total pricks. ASU held the trumps card since LSU needs a 10 game season. I hope Les does use this to motivate the players. I want to see them go out and kick a$$!

Ok... Let's look at the positives here..... Come September 24, we will be 1-0... Tennessee will be 2-0... Two top 5 teams in our first home game of the season. Construction will be done. The biggest game in the history of Tiger Stadium. It will be packed by 6:00 and the Golden Band from Tigerland will come out for Pregame to the largest crowd ever.
