I realize this is a hot topic but I think we ought to reserve this conversation for the end of the season. Though I doubt our opinions have much influence on decisions and reality, I don't want Miles to think we are ready to replace him. I want him to be our coach. He is a good recruiter and knows how to surround himself with other good coaches. He might have a heart for Michigan but I don't think he wants to pull a Saban and think the grass may be greener when the grass is in full bloom here in south Louisiana. Just my opinion.
I DO NOT want to replace him that was my reason for my post! I hope you are right about the grass being greener!! He is OUR coach and I hope he stays a good while! (of course as long as he is winning 10+ games :hihi: )
Man, what a program we have. Bama pays 32 million for our last ex coach. Now Michigan may want our current coach. I wonder how much Michigan would offer? I don't think CLM would leave just because it's Michigan. He has a great home at LSU if he wants it. His heart is definitely in the college game and seems to enjoy the impact he has on each players life. This is gonna be an interesting year between now and January. :crystal:
