Good read on Alfred Blue and his running mates in LSU's loaded backfield. http://www.sportsnola.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=585921&Itemid=94
I spoke with his dad a few weeks ago...he says he is working harder this year than ever. All those guys in the backfield make you stronger. I think it is a good thing. It allows you to stay fresh and doesn't wear you out in case you get a chance to move on. I think the recent successes of former Tiger backs attest to that. No longer do you have that featured back with 25-30 carries a game.
"Blue has been a warrior in the weight room during off-season workouts, boasting a 340 pound bench press and 430 squat yet displaying breakaway speed with a 4.45 forty. He has gained 13 pounds to his frame since 2011." This dude must be jacked. Shit, I know I am.
