I don't know if you guys saw this, but Albert "Road Rage" Haynesworth just ripped off a Cowboy players helmet and stomped on his head with a steel cleat. Despicable, but sadly typical of the type of players Fulmer is known for recruiting. Whatever gets you the win, eh Phil? I know that the league will impose penalties, but in this situation should there be the option of bringing criminal assault charges against him?
Absolutely... When Bill Romanowski beat up that TE in practice while he was playing for Oakland, I think it was talked about being handled in court...
Criminal charges and a civil suit. I would take a lot more out of his pocket than the league will get.
Here it is: "Williams, who played on special teams with the Raiders, sued Romanowski in October 2003, claiming he was the victim of an unprovoked attack. Romanowski said the incident was a mutual altercation. Fights commonly occur in practices, he said, and Williams "assumed the risk and hazard" that comes with playing football." http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?file=/c/a/2005/01/27/MNG8MB16QB1.DTL Here's another: http://www.raidersrap.com/court-romanowski.html
Luckily it was just a Cowboys player. Besides, Haynesworth purported has an F-650 SuperCruzer, which gets him a lot of bonus points with me.
He uses the 650 like he uses his cleats: http://www.sportingnews.com/yourturn/viewtopic.php?t=91619 CARTHAGE, Tenn. -- Tennessee Titans defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth surrendered to authorities Friday to face a charge of reckless endangerment after another motorist complained he tried to run a car off the highway with his large truck. Smith County authorities issued a warrant for his arrest after James J. Bond filed a police report about a Sunday incident. Haynesworth was released on $1,000 bond. Bond told police Haynesworth, who was driving a 2006 Ford F-650, swerved at high speed and attempted to pass a Mustang driven by Bond's mother-in-law on the left shoulder of Interstate 40 about 45 miles east of Nashville, Smith County Sheriff Johnny Bane said. "The affidavants feared for their lives and felt they were in danger, as well as other drivers around them," Bane said. No officer was present at the scene, and the warrant was issued Tuesday after authorities investigated Bond's report, Bane said. Neither the Tennessee Titans nor Haynesworth's agent, Chad Speck, returned calls from The Associated Press. Not the exact vehicle in question, but a nice truck nonetheless: View attachment 7790
Nice find Deceks. As to the complainants, they sound like drama queen cowards. Probably even had the six cylinder in their POS Mustang. No sense playa hatin' on him because his time is money! After seeing the replay of the stomping, I'm curious how long he'll be suspended. The rest of the year wouldn't be an overreaction.
