Bama, you mention over and over about how high and mighty your SOS is over LSU. Look at the teams LSU played that gave us a weaker SOS.....we BLEW THEM AWAY. Now, I give you Oklahoma. That was one heck of a try against a #1 team and you did almost pull it out, however, if you would've pulled it out, it would've been the same type of game as our Florida loss...a fluke. Even the damn band lost that day!

Your strength of schedule is so tough that you barely beat lowly Kentucky by 10 points, Southern Miss by 14 and you LOST to NORTHERN ILLINOIS OF ALL PEOPLE. These are teams in which you should've blown away also. Your SOS cries have nothing for a backup unless you prove something.

You're going to get a reality shot about SOS tomorrow night.

I find the SOS argument on any side to be a mute point. Our 92 squad played everyone close and then beat UM handily after they had been destroying teams all year. You guys have played weaker opponents and won impressively, we have played harder ones and loss close games. Personally I'd rather be in your shoes.

The matchups each week are different depending on how the team has practiced, their injuries, their mind sets, the game plan etc. You can't look at what you did last week against one team and predict whats going to happen this week.

We are a good team and we look fired up for the game. I still say any good team playing their seniors last home game is going to be dangerous, especially if the team they are playing is top 5 and a conference rival. While LSU has a very good team and clearly deserving of their #3 ranking I think we will give you a game and I would not be surprised by either team winning.

Who is UM? I know you didn't beat Ole Miss, and Mississippi State definitely hasn't been destroying teams.

I was speaking of the 92-93 season and UM is the University of Miami

Oh, okay. I'm sorry, I missed that.

At any rate, you know as well as I know that 1992 has no bearing on this year, so I won't get into that.

I'm sorry but your still missing my point. I was using the 92-93 season to explain why SOS arguments are BS. An example on how past games show very little about how a team is going to play their next one.

I never said 1992 had a bearing on anything..... geez

Well, actually I feel past games can show you what type of a team you have, and so far Alabama hasn't proven to be able to put a team away when it has a chance. Alabama in no way should have lost that game to Arkansas. I don't know for sure what will happen this week, but I like our chances.

hey vatidefan. Things get a little "anxious" over here before game day. Don't take anything personally.

You LSU fans that are driving up this weekend. Be careful and have a great trip. I have been to Tuscaloosa on game day a couple times. Great atmosphere, pretty good stadium, a definite must on the list of college towns that you have to visit for a game.

Let's hope for a good, injury free game on both sides. Geaux Tigers.

No problem at all Tigerintn. I also would like to wish every LSU fan a safe trip to Bama and here's to hoping for a good hard fought, injury free game.

This is why I love college football so much! This game should be awesome! Isn't it great that the two teams get to settle things on the field?

Yet another example of why we need an 8 or (preferably 16) team playoff, in my opinion.
