Why is it news when someone famous or important's coat tail riding kids get in trouble? This is like when the Bush twins got busted using fake ids. Its two minutes of filler that amounts to nothing. My most sincere hope is we dont have a week full of Al Gore discussing this issue with every political commentator on TV.

The public feeds on it......it makes them "Real" just like you and me. Human nature to be jealous and the public likes to see them fall. It's almost like it makes them feel better since "They had it easy".

Too often though, "Rich kids", though they seem to have it all- materialistically speaking- would throw it all away for more real time with their parents who mistakingly think material things are a substitute for their absence.

Not this time. I've been down that kids/drugs road and it's not a situation I would make light of.

#1 The only minor drug that I'm familiar with is St. Joseph's aspirin for children.

#2 Yes, it CAN go 100 MPH. Problem is, it takes 10 minutes from a standing stop to get there.

Al Gore is one person. Al Gore III is another. One is a public figure and one is not. I just don't get it. Heaven knows that Reagan's children were nothing like him.

I'll bet that 100% of us were speeded in a car at his age and about 75% smoked some ganja, too. Rich kids just get faster cars and better weed.
