    28 votes.

The emails had the desired effect, no question, and hopefully they are no longer being sent at this time.

Here's an angle I don't think any of us have considered yet: where, exactly, do these AP voters reside?

With a clear LSU win (none of this "3 missed FGs and you only won by 7 anyway" crap will cut it this time around), we should lock up the South, with the Midwest leaning LSU.

West Coast homers will go SC, so it might be picking off a few up NE way that'll make the difference. Do comments like the one made by the Boston Globe voter and the story in the Wall Street Journal last week making our case show some stirring among those up east to at least consider LSU?

If there is one area that has even less respect for West Coast teams than those in the South, it's East Coast teams.

I'm wondering if that article actually appeared in the paper or just on the AJC's website? Anybody get the AJC?

We'll find out who they vote for ... Lord help any school in the SEC where some AP voter (like this Gainesville guy) votes a Pac-10 team over a SEC team.

Payback and hate mail for bad press is a requisite here for any Southern Sportswriter who votes for USC after a big LSU win.

DId anyone notice that Barnhardt said USC was playing Washington State? No, it's OREGON State.

And Tejas, Steven Jackson will be a first-round pick next year, but he won't have the blocking to carry the Beavers past USC, I'm afraid. But here's hoping ...!

he lost all credibility of that article with this statement: "But if USC beats Washington State (7-4)"

that's not a simple mistake....anyone who knows anything about cf knows USC is playing oregon state

That is a great article..............all it takes is a strong grassroots program and we can pass these "left-coasters"
