Friend 1 - 4 yrs old at gymnastics and been one of my closest friends since Friend 2 - About 6th grade and initially mutual friends with friend 1. Best man at my wedding Friend 3 - About 8th grade but became really good friends later in high school and at LSU Friend 4 - 7th grade when he moved to my town. Our dads were good friends and his dad relieved mine offshore when I was born. Friend 5 - About a junior in high school but much better when we roomed together off campus as freshmen at LSU. Friend 6 - Remember telling him his shoes were cool around 7 yrs old at Bobby Pascal's basketball camp for USL. Went to different schools until high school and got to know much better at LSU when we roomed for 2 yrs. All but friend 6 are in my fantasy football league and I see at least a few times per year. That line in Stand By Me about your best friends at 12 are always your best friends made me think of this. Mostly true for me.
