Buy in the next few hours. I just did, for $175 each on Stubhub... not a bad deal considering face is around $125. With the proximity of the game, odds of non-season ticket holders getting tickets through the university are very, very low. With an LSU/ND matchup, prices are going to explode from the $200 level they're at right now. If you're not a season ticket holder or someone of priority status and want to go to this game, I highly advise you go after tickets these next couple hours BEFORE word of the matchup leaks to the general public as a whole. Even if you're iffy on whether you'd get tickets through LSU, I'd still buy. Reselling these is not going to be a problem at all if that's what you have to do.
I wonder how many people are going to be left standing with tickets for the Rose in one hand and for the Sugar in the other? The point spread between Mich. and Florida in the Coaches poll is too close. I'll wait and see.
26 points isn't that close. Out of 87 remaining voters, only 6 or 7 in the Harris will have to flip-flop to give Florida what it needs. Look at public opinion... look at the AP... it's going to happen. That said, waiting is fine... the Harris Poll should be released within the next hour or so. All I'd recommend is that once it's released, go ahead and pursue tickets then... don't wait until the selection show.
one ticket wont be too hard to find. i have pretty good TAF connections too. hell id pay 400 for a ticket to this game. i hate ND, i hate SC, either way its gonna be fun. SC is like my generation's ND. imma go crazy when somebody puts a huge hit on brady quinn. probably tyson, landry, or ali, they always seem to get the knockout shots.
I assume LSU will open up tix requests for the Sugar? Not sure how many pre-orders they got, but it probably was less than the allotment. I just booked my hotel room in New Orleans just in case. Thought I'd beat the crowd.
