One of the weaknesses in english versions of the bible is the fact that names of people ,towns ,cities,or individuals is just transliterated and not fully translated.God uses this as a way of teaching us.Example ,Moses= drawn from the water,Jeremiah= whom god lauches forth,.. kenite =sons of cain strongs 7014 All the races survived the flood of noah,and Cains children did also.How do we know this? 1 chronicles ch 2 verse 55...this chapter is the geneology of the true tribe of Judah,but Judah has hired a people to do his bookwork for him....verse 55 tells us that these scribes that judah has hired are kenites that came from Hemath the father of the house of Rechab...think about that? here are God's people,one of the 12 tribes ,and they have hired Satan's children to do their bookwork or recordkeeping for them. now ,by the time of jeremiah ,God tells jeremiah to go down to the house of rechabites{Rechab was a kenite.}bring them into the house of god and give them wine to drink.so all the rechabites come into the house of god and do they partake of wine in the house of God ...Nope...they refuse.They also say the following : we have done all that our father has commanded us to do ,drink no wine all our days niether shall we build house ,nor sow seed {i wonder why? Could it be that after Cain slew Able god punished him by saying he wouldn't be able to grow anything anymore.},nor have any.Then a little later in the chapter they tell you that they moved to jeresulem for fear of the army of the Chaldeans.This now means that they can call themselves jews because they live there geogpraphically. matt ch 23 verse 1 ...and the scribes which now sit in the seat of Moses...by the time of Christ,they are sitting in Moses's seat has the lawgiver.Here are Satan's children giving the law about God's word to God's children. here is Christ speaking to them ...you vipers{isn't that another name for serpent} matt 23:33 Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell? generation means offspring That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar. I believe that would be Christ calling them the offspring of the devil,and not for the first time.parable of the tares same thing...and it isnt a parable after christ sends the multitude away and all that are left are his disciples...he explains the parable to them the tares are the children of the wicked one...the enemy that sowed them is the devil.
They probably did not even know what sin was. But they were told not to eat of this fruit. They disobeyed. Satan was not a snake at that time. Later he was cursed by God to crawl on his belly. Women were forced to bear children with pain. Satan was like second in command but could not resist wanting to be the one in total command. He was God's most beautiful angel. He was second powerful. Eve was mislead. Did God know this would happen? I think he knows all. BUT He allows us to make our choices. Would you want your son to love you because he had to or because he choose to? If you believe they were "set up," what about the Anti-Christ?" I believe it is predestined. I believe that at one time in his life, he will make the choice to reject God. But he will have that choice. Of course, God knows what his choice will be------to follow Satan as his god..........but he had a choice. I believe God knew the second you would be concieved. I believe He knew whether you would accept Him or reject Him..He knew what your decision would be but you were allowed to make it. He doesn't say, "I'll make this one for Heaven and this one for Hell." BY THE WAY, I BELIEVE THE "LEATHER" ON MY BIBLE IS REAL!!!!:hihi:

Well, many of us just don't believe in magic. There is evidence for evolution. There is none for magic. Many of us dropped our churches exactly because of that reason. We began to see that it was a magic show. I have not dropped God, I just dropped the trappings of 5,000 years of human mythology, interpretation, editing, and spin. Evolution is a marvelously complex and amazing thing. Why is this not accepted to be the work of God? I can't allow the allegorical campfire creation stories of an illiterate bedouin people to become my concept of creation, just because it was understandable to unsophisticated ancient people.

Did God fail to destroy all flesh? of course not. Genesis 7:21. And all flesh died that moved upon the earth, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of beast, and of every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth, and every man: Game over, pal. You know little of Judaism if you think that. There have always been non-Jews in Palestine and in Jerusalem. Another giant stretch. What makes these scribes connected to any of the earlier people and what does any of this prove about Cain NOT being the son of Adam. Nothing. Once again, nothing you have posted indicates one single bit that Cain was not the son of Adam. Please quit blowing smoke and get to where you find a scripture of that single disputed fact. You keep using your fine imagination to explain away things that are just not there. Aren't you supposed to believe in the bible as infallible and The Truth? It states clearly that Cain was the son of Adam(Genesis 4:1). It says the opposite NOWHERE. The bible states clearly that God destroyed all men except for the family of Noah (Genesis 7:21). It says NOWHERE that the children of Cain survived.
isnt the existence of god, or a god, any god, magical? since you dont believe in much of the bible stuff because of a lack of evidence, why do you believe in god? were you blinded on the road to bogalusa?
