Man, they all screwed up a bunch of calls today too, these guys are the pits. They aren't just messing up on holding, offsides, etc. They have missed a bunch of scoring plays, turnovers, etc. What a shame to have such inept officials effecting the outcomes of all these games.
Who's officiating the Sugar Bowl? It goes without saying that I DON'T want a PAC-10 crew (probably USC arse-suckers) and I don't want Big Ten--those guys don't know what it's like to officiate a football game with high-powered offenses. They're used to "student body left" and "student body right" offenses. I wouldn't mind a Big East crew. I've been to enough BC games to form an opinion of the officiating, and with Miami and Va Tech, those guys have seen their fare share of high-powered, pro-style offenses and have experience in officiating games that will have physical defenses. A PAC-10 crew, having never seen a physical defense in the past decade, wouldn't know how to make calls--they'd be littering the field with yellow markers all the time!
Someone told me Big 11 crew, but I haven't been able to confirm it. They would be the least biased, IMO. ACC officials are just terrible. Big East officials are used to big offense, but not big games.
