I can't comment on the announcers because I turned hawthorne up on the radio, but just the bare boned coverage of the game stunk. I remember crying for a replay on one of our penalties, but instead got a promo for one of their terrible shows. And if it wasn't a promo, it was some silly interview with a player. That stuff should be done pregame. I want to see what is happening on the field now or the play before.

My favorite was a qb comparison and White was 3-11, 28 yds. and an int. Mauck was 3-6, 16 yds. Someone with their little yellow telestrator put an A by White and a C by Mauck. Are you kidding me? I had the sound down, and I hope they weren't giving an A to white on his performance.

    HAH...I remember that too!

I would have thought the same thing if I wasn't listening to the commentators.

All they were saying is that for OU to win, Jason White needed to play his "A" game. For LSU to win, Mauck only needed to bring his "C" game.

For the most part, they called a good game. They were, so obviously, in AWE of our defense the entire game.

thanks, we were all thinking the annoucers were giving their usual lovefest for the heisman trophy. It's funny how, knowing our lack of respect by the media, we all took it that way.

Yes they were in AWE. That's all you heard was "wow....look at that defense" or "without a doubt the best defense in college". You could tell they were for OU though. I think Mulletbutt calls the Big 12 games.

ABCs coverage was biased as usual

Brent Musburger was soooo pro OU & Disney sure sold a lot of advertising. They were so worried that it would be a LSU blow-out and people here on the east coast would go to bed, BM and Gary Danielson were cheerleaders for OU. I couldn't pick up WWL here so I was stuck with their biased commentary and way to many references to USC [University of So Close but no Waterford Crystal ADT National Champion Trophy ].

Yeah it was the ruled "no catch" by Clayton on the sideline.

The "A" for White was indicating that White would have to have his A game for Oklahoma to be Successful while Mauck could play his C game and LSU could still be successful. That proved to be a true forcast. If Mauck had played his "A" game it would have been a blowout..

right, I forgot about wanting a slow motion replay on clayton's catch, because I thought for sure his legs were in bounds. And speaking of bad officiating, The punt catch interferrence call was the worst i've seen in a while. Clearly a clean hit.

DValley, he also had clearly made the catch too! That was a great play. Did anyone see or hear what the penalty was for on the drive where two were against us when we were inside the five and settled for a FG that came off the board and we ran the fake punt. Also, I never heard of two penalties being marked off on one play. I thought they would mark off the largest penalty.

It was a dead ball thing. Holding during the play and after the play, personal foul/unsportsmanlike conduct (I don't remember which one).

What he was saying when he drew and "A" next to White and a "C" next to Mauck's because he said, "For Oklahoma to win, White must bring his 'A' game...For LSU to win, Mauck needs only to play average."

It was a knock on OU--NOT on Mauck.
