stole home plate against andy pettite and jorge posada to tie the game in the bottom of the eighth looking for a video as we speak
A straight steal of home is one of the rarest, most exciting plays in baseball. Love to see the vid if you find it.
Here comes the rocket ? Aaron Hill's play made ESPN's top ten this morning. Here it is, its at the end:
Speaking of former LSU shortstops, Ryan Theriot bopped a tater off Dontrell Willis last night. First Theriot tater and as usual, Cubs lost.
If you go to ESPN's front page, go to the right side's video player for MLB, there are currently Blue Jay-Yankee highlights that show it, but only from the centerfield live camera. (No replay).
You know who else has been tearing it up lately? Brad Hawpe. Seems like evey time I watch baseball tonight, he's got another highlight. Geaux Tigers
Aaron Hill steals home Former LSU tiger Aaron Hill has been the talk of the sports world today after he stole home last night against Andy Petite and the New York Yankees. It was a truly incredible play as Hill timed the steal perfectly as Petite was so locked into the runner at first, he failed to even notice Hill in motion to home until he was at least 2/3 or 3/4 of the way to home. It's been years since this play has been pulled off successfuly and it's nice to seen an LSU alum getting the credit for one of the most exciting plays in baseball. LSU!
