A letter to the editor of the SF Chron last November:

    http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?file=/c/a/2005/11/13/EDG55FL0DF1.DTL&type=printable

    A fascinating observation.

The question is: Is it too late to do something about it here?? and in addition: How will this affect Europe's actions/reactions to events (most specifically threats) from the Muslim communities within their countries?

Given what happened in France, will there be more outbreaks of violence in the struggle for control in the future in Europe???

It must be remembered that third-world rhetoric, especially Islamic rhetoric, is always theatrical, myopic, exaggerated, pompous, and self-serving.

They have rarely, if ever, been able to back anything up, but they blow hard, mostly for the benefit of the illiterate masses in their own countries

Western observers must try to distinguish the political ravings of the local mullahs and strongmen from the true threats. Usually easy, but not always.

Generally agreed, red, but this is a new tactic.

Usually, they are given to "we'll whip yo @ss" kind of statements.
(See S. Hussein, "mother of all battles", circa 1990)

This approach seems much more sublime and subversive, and enlists their own propensity for propagation to help them silently invade their "hosts", then waiting for the right time for the "call to arms".

    I agree with Bayareatiger.
Just because some things haven't happened in the past doesn't mean things won't happen in the future.
In the past its been rhetoric but I think some could be under estimating the ability of the enemy for the future.
For instance, all the reports lately of Muslims dressed as Mexicans crossing the border.

I think the future holds what we are witnessing in Europe over the last year or so.
I do think its very possible in America just like the Mexican's protesting rights for illegals last spring, is that crazy or what?
You break the law and then you should be rewarded for that?
Everything is bass backwards in the world today in this traditional conservatives view.
It is a mistake in todays world to think things probably won't happen in this country.

If Muslims move here and become citizens and vote other Muslims into political power that isn't a sign that our democracy is broken, but rather a sign that it works. In the end we win. Suckers.
