That would be @stevescookin 's wheel house. But i'd imagine a sour cake. Although, Vinegar pie is surprisingly sweet. You don't see that much anymore.

    https://freebeacon.com/issues/alarm...obal-warming-heating-oceans-based-math-error/

The study published by the journal Nature on Oct. 31 by researchers at Princeton University and UC San Diego's Scripps Institution of Oceanography claimed the oceans were warming at a rate 60 percent higher than previously thought.

However, a mathematical error discovered by independent climate scientist Nic Lewis after he perused the study's first page has led the journal to retract its key finding. The study has a much larger margin of error, making their findings of a 60 percent increase in ocean warming less precise, and actually between 10 percent and 70 percent.

The lead researcher now says its findings are practically meaningless, with a margin of error "too big now to really weigh in" on ocean temperatures.

I don’t care what any administration puts out on this subject. I read the actual science, and the data doesn’t add up to equal the catastrophic story that the body politic puts out. As I’ve noted before .....

    1) there is no “global” warming, there is only arctic warming (clearly shown on EVERY global temperature map published by every alarmist group). Further, there has been no increase in the maximum temperature, only an increase in the minimal temperature.
    2) there is no empiric evidence or prospective studies to support CO2 being a major contributor to climate, only “virtual reality” studies using models that have been proven to wrongly apply the basic physics.
    3) by the IPCC own admission, curbing CO2 concentration will result in an insignificant non-impact on global temperature. .... i.e., when your solution does not address the problem, then your assumption about was is causing the problem is wrong.
    4) EVERY prediction by the alarmists has proved to be wrong, the Arctic still has ice, hurricanes and tornadoes are NOT getting worse, fires are not more frequent or worse, drought is not worse, and flooding has not gotten worse over time. All one needs to do is look at the data to know the truth.

17 years ago the climate clowns were warning the ski industry that in 10 years snow would basically not exsist and the ski industry would suffer. Guess our stubbon climate didn't read the memo. Nov and Dec 2018 saw record early snow in the Rockies.

The end of snow: The IPCC has also hyped snowless winters. In its 2001 report, it claimed “milder winter temperatures will decrease heavy snowstorms.” Again, though, the climate refused to cooperate. The latest data from Rutgers’ Global Snow Lab showed an all-time new record high in autumn snow cover across the northern hemisphere in 2014, when more than 22 million square kilometers were covered.

And according to data from the National Operational Hydrologic Remote Sensing Center cited by meteorologist Mike Mogil, “U.S. snow cover on the morning of Dec. 1, 2015 is the highest on record for this day of the year.” In all, 38.7 percent of the United States was covered in snow, surpassing the previous record — 36.5 percent — set in 2006. Worldwide, similar trends have been observed. Global Snow Lab data also shows Eurasian autumn snow cover has grown by 50 percent since records began in 1979.

After their predictions were proven wrong, alarmists claimed global warming was actually to blame for the record cold and snow across America and beyond. Seriously. Among the “experts” making that argument was former cooling zealot Holdren, Obama’s science czar: “A growing body of evidence suggests that the kind of extreme cold being experienced by much of the United States as we speak is a pattern we can expect to see with increasing frequency, as global warming continues.”

When asked for the “growing body of evidence” behind his assertions, Holdren’s office refused to provide it, claiming the ramblings were just his “opinion” and therefore not subject to transparency and accuracy laws. Still, Holdren’s claim directly contradicts the IPCC, which in 2001 predicted “warmer winters and fewer cold spells.”

It's 'Climate Change' now, and the evidence could be colder temps, warmer temps, are the same temps. It's all proof - that we need to give more money and support these climate scientist's critical research.
