How embarrassing, to have such a public display of hatred towards the former President. Just gives the rest of the world more reason to laugh at our Harolded Democratic system.

While I would never be the one who would go out to protest Bush, its called the first amendment, if you have forgotten:grin:

They can laugh all they want, but in other countries, they would line up the firing squad for public display of protest like this.

While I agree whole heartedly on you point about the First Amendment, I just personally have so much respect for the Office of the Presidency that displays like this are an embarrassment to me. IMHO, no different than the burning of the flag. To me there are just some Patriotic values that should never be put up for public display of hatred.

Amazing how in one day I can be so proud of this country, and our display of what makes us great, and the very same day can be so ashamed of the very same reason.

That was just a tribute to ignorance, and hatred. Oh, and I would say the same thing if that was geared to Obama too...

    Who's Harold?:hihi:

To me, the whole display is sickening. You can disagree with the President, but these mob scenes and "clever" signs just show a ridiculous amount of hate. People should have more respect for the President, whether you agree or disagree.

Yeah, they don't put up with that kinda of crap in places like North Korea or China. In 1989, Chinese citizens tried to stage some protests that the Chinese goverment felt was disrespectful, and it got ugly (Tiananmen Square).

In Dallas yesterday, there were a group of idiots on Central Expressway with signs denouncing the "war criminal" that was moving to Dallas. Also, the protests at SMU over the Bush Library have been moronic.

I understand that we have free speech; it's just that some of it is really disrespectful.

Funny, I don't remember all this outrage when the Taliban was chopping off the heads and hands of woman for daring to show their face in the sun or when Saddam was committing his mini-genocides.

    How pathetic these people are.
