so apparently, huizenga is a huge florida gators fan. so much so that he wouldnt let josh booty out of his contract when playing minor league baseball for the marlins b/c he wanted to go play football at LSU. therefore, i cant help but see WH's constant pursuit of NS to be somewhat motivated by rivalry. so if NS does leave, i think LSU ought to do whatever it takes to get spurrier! can you think of a bigger F.U. to give U.F.?!?!
Spurrier already accepted the job at south carolina. Besides, i can guarentee you that huizenga cares for his pro ball club way more than FU.
Huizenga didn't want to let booty out of his contract because he had paid him MILLIONS to play baseball.
Spurrier went to south carolina be cause he wants to build a football program and retire on it. LSU's already got a big program. He wouldn't want to come in the shadow of a national championship team, he wants to build his own.
