Maybe someone in the media has already asked this. If so, I have not heard it. IF, the Rose Bowl was "the" National Championship game, then why didn't #1 play #2? Why was the "championship" game played between the #1 and #4 teams? Those in the national media who have already awarded the national championship to USC should ask these questions ... but they won't.
all that matters is the spotlight will be on LSU vs OU tonite. The Sugar Bowl signs all over the building including the field and on my replica jersey I am wearing at home says NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP. One other thing....... USC will be at home watching it on tv during the game and when the crystal trophy is received. Screw the Media........ But I think the announcers and everyone at tonites game will make the case for LSU and OU during the game the way they did for USuck. All that matters to me is the winner gets the Crystal trophy. USC got one?
