What are your opinions on all that has gone on with your mascot? Are you glad they retired the old Colonel? What did you think of the two replacements they came up with? Do you feel that this is a step forward, or stripping Ole Miss of its tradition?
I hope the Ole Miss faithful rise up and demand that the administration leave it alone. We LSU fans have had to deal with the Pinheads for the Eccentric Treatment of Animals calling for the "release" of Mike. We need to rise up and tell them where they can stick it.
From what I can gather, almost everybody wants the Colonel back and hates the two horrible alternatives they came up with. These two were officially dropped after a no confidence vote by Rebel fans. If you have seen them you would know why. But Col.Reb is gone for good--''Not appropiate for the 21st century " I think is how the adm. put it. Ole Miss' "tradition" is not politically correct and we have to think about recruiting-- thats the reason for all this, I believe.
Is there anything left the NAACP can't F*&% up, how much must the south let go of before it can be "ok" in the eyes of the real racist. Sorry, just venting a little, a group needs to be dispanded when all it can do is take flags off buildings and defend black criminals.
