I didn't realize that we have 2 former LSU wide receivers in Buffalo.
    1 Josh Reed
    2 Jerel Myers

I realize Jerel may or maynot make the team by opening day, he did catch
a pass, I remember seeing it during the game last nite.

I saw Matt talking to Jerel after the Denver/Buffalo game last nite.

Their is a report that "Primetime" maybe returning to play for the Ravens.
I for one would love to see Deon playing for someone although I would prefer
him playing for someone else other than the Ravens.

I would love to see an older guy like him come back and compete and be successful, he shares my birthday although I'm 2 years older than him.

Does anyone think Virginia Tech has a chance to beat USuck??
I don't really know how good or bad VT will be, maybe someone can enlighten
    me?

Virginia Tech has enough question marks that I think Southern California wins easily. But a VT win would be nice for us. I'd almost forgive the cowards. This was supposed to be the year that we opened with VT, to whom we owe some payback.

Along with being an LSU Tiger diehard on Saturday, on Sunday's i'm wearing red and blue in support of my beloved Buffalo Bills. When Reed was drafted, I jumped over the coffee table in my living room and was yelling like when LSU won the NC.
This is Reed's make or break year coming up. He had a pretty good rookie year, but last year he developed a reputation as a reciever who drops alot of passes. I think his confidence was shot after dropping a pass wide open in week one against New England last season. Reed ended up catching 50 passes, but fans were not to happy with him. This year the Bills drafted Lee Evans, so the pressure is on for Reed to perform. Josh has already said he wants to go back in the slot like he was his rookie season when Moulds and Peerless Price were wideouts. Reed would be a hell of a slot reciever, and I hope Evans can have a first year impact like Boldin did last season for the Cardinals.
As for Jerel Myers, he was on our practice squad last season. Our WR depth is very deep, one of the deepest in the NFL, so he'll probably endup on the PS or get cut this year.

btw, the Bills also have Marcus Price as 2nd string RT.

A couple weeks ago, there was a Buffalo beat writer on the local sports radio here saying that Reed had worked through his dropping passes by about midway through the season. He went on to say that he expects a good year out of him this year, and that right now, he is the #2 guy.

Which is true. Most of Reed's production came in the second half of the season. Bledsoe started hitting him with screens and slants to get his confidence back. He did go on to finish the season with about 50 catches. Therefore, he has looked good in camp so far, catching everything in sight, just like his rookie season. I personally would want to see him in the slot like he wants because he would be dangerous, and I don't think their's a nickel back in the league that can cover him one on one. Moulds will see double coverage every game, just about every play, so i'm hoping Lee Evans can come in and make an impact from the start, so that will be even more pressure off of Reed.
