I hope this shows the respect we all have for your program and your hospitality. Congrats on your win and good luck the rest of the season. An open letter to Nick Saban and the Tigers
Thanks RedHawks97. I can't tell you how proud I am to read that. As a long time LSU fan I can tell you I hope everyone's experience is like that. BTW, RedHawk, it was great meeting you and your Dad at the game Saturday. Aside from the game, I hope ya'll had a great time.
I just became a Redhawk fan. Thanks for being such a classy visitor to our school and our message board. I will be pulling for you guys from here on out.
I wonder if Auburn's.................. Tommy Tubberville has ever gotten a letter commending him for his display of class? Nah, probably not.
That letter shows great class and maturity. I'm also proud of our tram for showing class in victory and I'm proud of our coaches for teaching it to them.
I'll copy what I put on another thread. <<I'll tell y'all something. That letter is a great tribute to Saban. Remember how Stovall, Archer, & Hallman never had control of the players or went too far & was sometimes mean-spirirted to them. Or they just couldn't relate to the younger players. I believe that Saban has the ears of his players & they repond to him. LSU has a great coach!>> PS. You can book it that Tubberville will never see a letter like that!
Responding to the previous post, I'd include DiNardo as being a flawed coach - someone who made some very poor personnel decisions, with both the coaches and players. Also, when DiNardo ran right off the field in 1996 after the Vanderbilt game, without sticking around to greet Vandy players, it was one of the most classless acts I'd seen. Despite DiNardo's problems with Vandy's athletic department, those kids deserved a chance to get to shake his hand, as he'd recruited most of those players on their sideline.
