:crystal: Was it me, or did yesterday's game have a Gerry DiNardo feel to it? I mean how do you attempt 3 field goals of 40 plus yards in the second half with an idiot kicker you was 50% on FGs coming into yesterday's game. With already missing one wide left in the first half, how can you settle for FGs late in the game. I think we won on talent yesterday, not on coaching. I have given Miles the benefit of the doubt all year, but I can't no longer. Don't get me wrong, I'm not one of those people that are comparing him to saban. It's not fair. But this guy is an idiot. He lost us the Tennessee game by siting on a 21-0 lead at half time and tried to lose yesterday with poor coaching decisions down the stretch. I know we won and im not trying to be negative, but i don't see us getting back to a national title game with Miles as our coach.
I agree. No reason to dis Jackson for his fg kicking last night. Those were not chipshots. NFL kickers miss those as opten as they make them. Give the kid a break. He's a great Tiger!!:geauxtige :champs:
Jackson has been an absolute star as a punter and his punting was HUGE in yesterdays game. However he has been inconsistant his entire career on FG's. LSU badly needs to find a more consistant FG kicker especially seeing the many tight games we have been having. Still no reason to bash Jackson he is a major contributor doing his best and leading the nation in punting.
I didn't see Dinardo sitting anywhere in Tuscaloosa. But I think there was an idiot sighting in New Iberia. Probably going to be another one today as well.
OK people, READ WHAT IM SAYING. Im not dissing Jackson im dissing Miles. Knowing that Jackson is not a consistent kicker but a good punter, you punt instead and pin them down in their own endzone. I guess the idiot siting is on this board.
what were the bad coaching decisions??? we came out in the second half agressive as ever....and were flawless beside the field goals..and a few other things...
You are not allowed to Dis miles in any fasion here. A van should be pulling up in front of your house in about an hour, men with ear pieces, dark sunglasses and dark suits will exit. Run... As for your post, I agree and disagree, Makmud Abdul Rauf is a fantastic asset for LSU, yes he is not the best on FG's but this guy is one of the BIG reasons LSU is where it is at. I do agree 3 and 4 you go for it and play the percentages at this point. CJ did not have it, but I like the guy and will root for him. Things happen, he is an LSU tiger through and through. BUT I somewhat agree Miles made a poor decision in my opinion. Wait.. There is a knock on my door, some guys in suits and dark sunglasses are at the door. I will see what they want.
