A Black Man Who Gets it

Ray was the best R&B performer in my lifetime. He could perform a song unlike any other artist. I had the good fortune to see him in a live performance many years ago.

 

Was that supposed to be "gets it"

Or did someone punch ol Ray while he was singing?

 

You could tell how much old Ray loved singing a patriotic song in Yankee Stadium shortly after the goat fuckers knocked the Twin Towers down. I don't think he would approve of what's going on now. He knew that even a blind black man could make it in New York he could make it to the top of the hill anywhere.

So I must have missed it @Bengal B , what did Ray get hit with? A hotdog wrapper? Was it the hotdog? A baseball? I mean it would be pretty easy to hit Ray Charles with just about anything beings he can't see. Apparently I can't either because I can't figure out what hit him.
