Tony Mejia of CBS SportsLine picked against the Tigers: Texas 76, LSU 67 Doesn't sound right to me but I haven't read enough about the match-up to make a decent argument. Is this legit?
Something else to keep in mind - this game isn't really at Texas. It's in Houston and an enormous contingent of LSU fans will be attending.
Yes, and with Texas not looking so hot to start the season, I don't think UT will travel as well as otherwise expected. It will probably be a wash in terms of home court advantage.
Right - Interestingly enough - I know more LSU fans in Houston going to the game than I do Horns fans from Austin making the drive - and I know the road nuts here. Granted - Houston has it's share of Horns fans too, but we'll show well. Any strategy tips on flipping between this game and the Saints? I can only record 2 shows at any one time (and am then forced to watch one of the two recording shows) and Family Guy isn't getting the axe at 8:00.
I've seen Tx a couple of time and they have a bunch of quality athletes that just haven't come together as a team. I don't see it happening in time for tonight's game but would bet they'll be a force later in the year. Barnes is a pretty good coach.
Neither. You should come join me at the Sports Bar off I-35 near Rundberg (It's called 300 Sports Bar). Old name was Texas Sports Bar (totally renovated, beautiful, spacious and plenty of plasmas, and 2 big screens). You can watch both games simulataneously. 9504 N Ih 35 is the address
