9:52PM Dandy Don: "It is a done deal that Saban is going to Miami."

I got this e-mail as a response to one I had sent to Don.

"Max, thanks for your list. There is no press conference schedule for
tomorrow. It is a done deal that Saban is going to Miami."

I received the e-mail at 9:52PM Tuesday night

I don't know his sources or anything. Take this for what it is worth.

 

The only thing that would really seal the deal that Saban is staying is if Dan Rather would report it is a done deal that Saban is gone. God Bless Dandy Don.

I read him everyday and I have found him to be very informed. Anyone who reports on LSU recruiting everyday is going to be wrong alot because of the nature of recruiting news and it is dealing with high school kids.

Don has said that he was confused by conflicting reports or didn't know up until now. I think if he all the sudden believes it is a done deal that is pretty convincing. Otherwise, I think he would say a percentage or leaning this way or that, which is what he normally says.

I believe him.

I agree with you on that, I had to start calling him Dandy Dumb

 

What's negative about saying he's leaving? You can't handle the truth....I sure in the hell don't want him to leave but all indications are he is leaving. I hope that he stays.

 

Dandy is going by reports that Miami has met Saban's demands ($$ and control), but Saban has still not made a decision. I still think the deciding issue is family. It may be that Nick is trying to change their minds.

 

Didn't Dandy Don say RP had decommitted to Texas then turned around and said he got "bad information"?
