"TUCSON, Ariz. — Guidelines issued by U.S. attorneys in Texas showed that most illegal immigrants crossing into the state had to be arrested at least six times before federal authorities would prosecute them, according to an internal Justice Department memo."

Saw this and had to laugh. Great idea U.S. media. Let's reveal this and let all the Mexicans know nothing will happen to them if they get caught!

Your use of the name "Pablo" to signify our brown skinned neighbors to the south is racist and highly offensive to the "Acadian" minority of which I am one.

Indeed. Mexicans nationals should only be referred to as "Pedro".

Racist? No, the Mexicans make good food. My stomach acids would never actually do any work without them.

Off Topic: One of my neighbors refers to them as "Julios" He is an older man and lived in a house that got totally flooded by Katrina. Well one day my roommate and I were doing something in front of our house and he came over to talk to us about gutting his house. He was telling us that he "paid a couple Julios to gut his house"

On Topic: Gee, you mean that one of the attornies wasn't fired for purely political purposes but for not doing their job? Who woulda thunk it.

The problem is not that the news media printed the news. That's their job. The problem is the government is NOT doing their job.

Not surprised here, this is the way Democracies work.
They don't correct things until it becomes a national crisis if then.

I have seen this many times.
The news media have revealed everything from how to cheat, steal, rob to
giving intel to the enemy during a time of war.

This is true. It's likely true of any sufficiently large organization.
