The company bought the jet 2 years ago when they were flush with cash. The media made it sound like they made the purchase after receiving tax payer money for sensationalism.

I agree they should sell the jet and/or try to recoup the money they paid for the jet all ready. Just the media has a way of twisting the story to make obama look like his administration rode in and saved the day.

    Just my $.02

After reading my post i realized it did not make complete sense... They made the purchase 2 years ago but the plane is just now ready to be delivered, and the media made it sound like the buying decision was made after they got tax payer money.

If that's true, then those of us who have been complaining of bias in the media just got a poster child.

The media has nothing to do with your paranoia. They didnt say he saved the day, refusing delivery of the jet has to do with more of the message it sends than the fact that they ordered the jet 2 years ago.

Your disdain for Obama is at the center of your post, dont be like people like Limbaugh who says he wants Obama to fail.

The story also, says that they ordered the jet 2 years ago. So your point is really out the window. Its your bias showing more than anything here.

I have to disagree, MM. When I first read the story, my 1st thought was "You go, Barack". The tone definitely made it sound like the President got wind of the purchase and put a stop to it. Apparently, that's not at all what happened.

He didn't say he wanted Obama to fail. He said if Obama's policies are going to lead us to Socialism then he would have to say that he wants them (the policies) to fail.

But to take delivery of this 50 mill jet at this time sends the wrong message. If you want to criticize the media then fine, Obama had nothing to do with the initial story. Just the fact that he doesnt want a company like Citigroup sending the wrong message after receiving federal funds.

I wont even engage in a debate with you on the topic of defended Rush Limbaugh, we can debate O'Reilly or something Fox News said all day long, but Limbaugh, no thanks.

What has Obama done since in office that leads Rush to believe he is moving towards socialism. I havent seen many conservatives give him credit for all of the tax cuts he added in the stimulis package. He even dropped the silly funding for contraceptives that Senate Dems wanted in the bill, along with some other silly spending they included. Where is Rush on that?

Exactly. My problem here is with ABC, not Obama. Believe it or not, I like President Obama.
He has done nothing to show me that he is anything but honest and sincere.

I don't listen to Limbaugh's radio program. I did see the interview on Hannity and Rush took great pains to avoid criticism of Obama, the man. He disagrees with his policies (as spelled out during the campaign) and the whole liberal philosophy. Don't try to say that Obama is not a liberal. His history says otherwise.
