Forget where we are/will be ranked, reading polls and doing math doesn't change the fact that Bama handed us a 31-0 Loss in Tiger Stadium last year, albeit with several Staters missing. If we go to Bama and play flat, those polls are worthless. Anyone remember the week before Florida? "Wow! we're #6". I say put down the calculators & pie-charts, and go about the business of Repaying Bama for last year. Shaud Williams wants to make LSU his Showcase game. Let's make him look foolish in front of the Bama fans.

Sorry if I offended any fellow LSU Fans, I want this SEC Title as much as anyone, but it means going through Bama to get it. So lets go get the Damn thing!

Did Shaud say that somewhere???? Do you have a link??? Whats with all these RBs? Cadillac's Heisman campaign was launched the week they played us, now Shaud Williams wants to make this his "showcase" game? Shaud Williams wont break 50 yards rushing.

Shaud Williams has made no such remark that I know of. Link it or lose it.

Randall started Latide. Marcus freaking Randall, not Matt Mauck. Although its so easy to get them confused, because they look so similar.

Marcus Randall started and fumbled just when we would get momentum, just like the Cotton Bowl. Mauck got hurt in the Florida game and didnt play the rest of the year. I hope no crap gets started this year like last year when some idiot put a so called quote on the LSU board about what Saban said after the Kentucky game. It really fired up the Bama team, and Franchione wouldnt even shake Saban's hand after the game. However, to his credit, I heard that Franchione apologized later when he realized Saban didnt really make those statements. See ya in Tuscaloosa, LaTide.

If Mauck will return for next year, we'd be able to slowly work the freshmen in...and Randall can move to receiver or whatever. I just don't think he can be a big-time SEC QB. He's a good kid and I wish him the best, but he's just not the QB that LSU needs.
