    ....I have a solution.....PLAYOFF...PLAYOFF...PLAYOFF....PLAYOFF...

16 teams, 4 weeks. Starts at end of regular season, goes thru to week before the super bowl. Plenty of money for everyone, bowl sites make their revenues.

Only 4 undefeated teams left.... AU, USC, OU, and Utah... Boise St. doesnt count... only three have a valid shot... I think it will work out like last year co-champs again. If it doesnt and Auburn gets the shaft, the SEC negates their BCS contracts

the BCS got lucky its first few years and avoided some problems...mainly due to timely upsets.

last year and this year are hitting it hard (so far)

the fact that there is the *potential* screw ups every season is enough to get rid of it.

why dont we just let them play each other???

    dirty bastards

All I know is AN UNDEFEATED SEC TEAM ALWAYS DESERVES TO PLAY FOR THE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP.......even if it is Auburn.

I agree I believe everyone in the top 10 with equivalent losses ie undefeated or all teams with 1 loss should slug it out.

And to think you guys were complaing last year about not getting enough credit and you had a regular season loss. Auburn's still undefeated with a pretty good chance of going 12-0. I think the SOS category helped you guys the most last year, something we don't have this year. It's going to be really interesting to see how this plays out. I just can't imagine an undefeated SEC team not getting a shot at the NC...that would be Auburn's luck. :dis:

Auburn is projected to be right around #17 in the nation, after playing Tennessee....OU is projected #15 and USC is #18. So it would not have helped much at all.

Some of the computer polls are using SOS. But like I said it's basically a wash this year.

OU lost in the Big 12 Championship game. If things were last year the way they are now, we'd have played USC in the Sugar Bowl instead of OU. Period. End of story. It didn't help us, it hurt USC.

    It'll never happen.

1.) Money talks -- the NCAA and the Bowl games make too much money and will never switch

2.) 4 more weeks is too much for college players.
