3 more COACH'S to add to the list??
  1. I was Listing to WIBR today here in Baton Rouge. Chris Landry was on the show as a guest. Chris as you know is a LSU grad and a Tiger at heart, he is also a NFL scout, and works for Fox sports. Chris said he has been working close with Skip and company, and has help make contact to different coach's and there agents. Chis has ALOT of contacts both pro and college, and has a good feel for what kind of coach we need at LSU.

    Chris mentioned how he reasured that Nick Saban ,was the right man when Mark Emmerit ask him what he felt. Well now to my point, I called and ask Chris is there any surprise or secret coach's out there that LSU was looking at. Chris said YES!! there were three coach's that are flying under the radar. Of course he said he could not name them because, THEY DONT WANT THERE NAMES OUT IN PUBLIC. He said LSU fans need to be patient, and not to WORRY, because LSU will hire the right person.

    Here are some other tidbits Chris mention:

    1. Jimbo will get interview
    2. Muschamp will get interview
    3. Bobby Williams gets interview
    4. Kirk Ferentz will be getting several calls from NFL jobs soon to be open. Kirk is very unlikey to go to any other college program.
    5. Bobby Petrino 2nd tier pick, character is a problem.
    6. He said he has talk to Butch Davis on the phone, and Butch is staying out next year.
    7. Dennis Erickson is NOT the type person LSU needs (problem pass Canes) and remember LSU drop him last time they were looking for a coach.
    8. Les Miles 2nd tier coach.
    9. Jack Del Rio... he said longshot, but there seems to be movement Could this be one of the surprise's?
    10. Forgot cal's coach name, but Chris said he seems happy at Cal and may only move for a NFL gig.

    Well I just wanted to share with yall what I heard today. I get the feeling, Skip will surprise us all. I also think Chris has a good idea who it is. but of course want tell. Oh, sorry for the bad spelling:dis: .

  3. Not sure if you are applying faulty logic here.

    Just because the coach who gets the LSU gig is very lucky means that it will be reciprocal. Doesn't quite work that way.

  6. Jim Mora Jr is coaching a team with Vick on it....I think it is safe to say he's happy right where he is.
