This might be the most unobjective prediction I’ve ever seen on this board. And that’s saying something.
I like to give people a lot of benefit of the doubt, but he just reached the limit for me. Maybe I’m just slower than everyone here.
I think the discussion of Chaisson being "buyer beware" material is complete BS. Dude balled all year long and might have been the player whose opponents had more uncalled holding penalties in the nation. It seemed like every game there was more than one time when Chaisson was held because he beat his man. I think the author still has a grudge over Mingo not living up to his billing and assumes that K'Lavon is of the same mold. He could not be more wrong if that is what he's basing this on. How often does the NFL get LBs that have the speed to cover wideouts when needed? I'd be curious to see how many other LBs had 5 or more solo tackles against Alabam, Florida, and Oklahoma this year. Counting assists he had 10 tackles against Alabama, a team that has had the best recruiting classes more than any other team for the past decade. I'll take my purple and gold glasses off now.
i didn’t read the article, but only knock on K’Lavon would be his durability. missed all of ‘18 and a couple games in ‘19. and in some of the early games this year, he was noticeably not healthy.
I think Chaisson seriously contemplated coming back which shocked many of us because he knew we'd be switching to the 4-3 and an aggressive style under Pelini that would have seen his sack numbers explode. I don't believe he was utilized in a great way by Aranda for his individual goals but did everything for team. True #18.
