The day after LSU clinched the Southeastern Conference championship with a 73-70 win at Kentucky, there were callers to the Lexington, Ky., sports talk radio show hosted by Wildcats great Kyle Macy who were suggesting that if the slumping Wildcats slipped out of the NCAA tournament, they should turn down an invitation to the National Invitation Tournament.
