Just for fun, here's an article promoting Freeze... http://www.nola.com/lsu/index.ssf/2018/01/if_lsu_wants_to_beat_alabama_i.html#incart_m-rpt-2
Hopefully the new OC know that there is field between the numbers... Currently, our o is overwhelmingly outs and deep balls... Middle of the field is there for the taking which would make us hard to defend...
No doubt he's a good offensive coach but this "There's also the fact that the NCAA placed the Ole Miss program on probation for numerous recruiting violations that came under Freeze's watch." can't be overlooked...
I personally like Rod Smith, who was with Rich Rod for many years, and has a history of QB development. https://www.seccountry.com/lsu/10-candidates-replace-matt-canada-lsus-offensive-coordinator
I keep hoping that no news is good news. I'm assuming the staff is at AFCA, maybe the "non-announcement" of CSE is a positive sign. Dreamers can dream.
The biggest problem with Ensminger isn't that he's old and not innovative, everyone seems to keep passing right over the most obvious problems we've had in recent years, the lack of QB development. We need a coach who's shown ability to develop a QB, it doesn't matter how much promise they show.
Yea I mentioned that and was told I was wrong by the football genius’ we have here. I’m willing to give it a chance but just like I feel about O, I don’t think it’s the long term fix we need.
I agree. CFB is getting younger not older. There aren’t any Saban’s or Meyer’s that are established out there anymore.
