1. I knew that from the start...but I still see him drafted.
  2. Considering the Bama fan base must be in meltdown mode, he should form a new band "Hootie and the Blowhards"
    ParadiseiNC and LSUDad like this.
  3. I am surprised this happened today and during the dead period but apparently Hootie and his family have been reaching out to LSU for over a week now. Think he will take it slow for now until the dead period ends and then he will have to get it squared away to enroll early. I have heard some say he had a mediocre official visit to Bama which played into him decommitting but I don't believe that. He said the same about LSU's official visit (and Mom not having a good visit) but I thought that was a way to commit to Bama and pin it on that. I just think he made a decision way before he was ready. Maybe pressure from his buddies.

  4. He just fell 2 spots in the 247 composite listing (which means that one of the big recruiting sites just made some adjustments and dropped him slightly), so he fell 1 spot outside the 5 star recruits. Obviously he could easily get that 5th star back.
  5. Sure, he can get that fifth star back...if he re-commits to bama.

  6. Yes....but new facts coming to light are that cameron simms will not be academically elegible, and this had an affect on an already pesemistic hootie.
  7. Simms has always been on the bubble to qualify.

  8. My guess at this point is that Jones doesn't end up at either Bama or LSU.
  9. I am hearing Ohio State is a new player in this. From all accounts, it is a Bama OSU battle.
