ESPN gameday was hard to watch just now....LSU great D but boring O was the take by the GameDay crew......
Our best depth is in the backfield. We have a stable of backs. If Devine were to get hurt Tavon would move to RB or we would just put our big FB back there and start banging away. If Tavon were to get hurt that would be disastrous but we still have Jock Sanders, Stedman Bailey, and JD Woods. We also have a good pass catching TE that could move to wideout in Will Johnson plus a couple young guys like Ivan McCartney would have to stepup. Everyone thinks Rich Robriquez did great things here. We had no depth when he was here. All he wanted to recruit was high school qbs and turn them into slots, rbs, and cb's. Coach Stewart has done a damn good job of getting us some depth. Its still not as deep as what you guys have but its getting better. We have some injuries this week that is going to hurt our depth at D-line. We are finally getting one of our starting LBs back this week. Our LB corp is pretty deep with about 5-6 guys that can get the job done. We have depth in the secondary but the talent level drops off drastically since most of the backups are young. Evident in the 2 long bombs MD got last week on our young CB. B Hogan will be playing tonight (not official, but im certain) so our db's will be in good shape.
