That doesn't even make sense. I'd say they are the best judge of talent in the past decade minus the 3 or so years under Larry Coker, Randy Shannon has done an amazing job recruiting the past 2 years, despite what Rivals rankings may say. His freshman have come in and played real well.

Besides, they hold the record for most players selected in the first round in a single draft (6, 2004); most first-round draft picks in a two-year period (11, 2003-2004); most first-round draft picks in a three-year period (15, 2002-2004); and most first-round picks in a four-year period (19, 2001-2004).

For the past 14 years, Miami has had at least one player selected in the first round of the NFL draft. The Hurricanes also hold a record streak of 101 consecutive regular season weeks where a Ex-Hurricane has scored a touchdown in an NFL game.

Claiborne is way out of his league IMO. I haven't seen these guys play or talked with coaches or anything.. people who have seen them play is about all I could get. Just based on film and measurables.. Claiborne is a stud. Fobbs is great.. and I would honestly take him over Hurd on defense.. but I have a thing for the taller DBs.

ESPN has this to say about Fobbs..

"If Fobbs was a couple of inches taller he would have the perfect height to be a major receiver. He has the talent to be a solid special teams player and the versatility to fit into many different systems."

    And this about Claiborne..

"Claiborne is a bit of a secret in recruiting circles, but his talent level won't be kept at bay for long once he enters the college ranks. This guy is a smooth, fluid athlete with great speed and change-of-direction skills."

That's not quite accurate. Fobbs had an offer on the table and not just from LSU but from many others as well.

He had an offer from LSU for CB, not for WR.

    That sums it up.

Having a great time from what I hear and Fordham confirmed that in a recent article.

Yes there is a lot of chatter about Fobbs and many are hopeful we will take him away from the Aggies. I thought I was losing my mind when I looked at a post about Fobbs last night in this thread that was gone 2 seconds later. I don't think it hurts that Stephenson has verbaled elsewhere too. Stay tuned, don't touch that dial! The teenagers out there won't know what dial they are referring to. Don't touch the remote or the keyboard!!
