2007 SEC COACHES PRE-SEASON ALL-SEC FOOTBALL TEAM

    Hmmmm. Interesting list this year. They really spread the love around all 12 teams. LSU is finallly getting some all-SEC attention. Last year there was a lot of hype about LSU's talent, but when All-SEC teams were named LSU came in behind several other schools. Not this year. A few comments:

    1. LSU is not as deep on the offensive line as we have been used to, but four of the five starters are on the All-conference team. That's more than the highly-touted defensive line got. LSU will line up some hosses on both lines.

    2. I would have put Beckwith on the first team and Highsmith on the second.

    3. I'm surprised that Doucet edged Monk to make first team WR.

    4. I might have put Nickson as first team QB. Woodson didn't score a single point against us last year and only had high passing numbers because KENTUCKY HAS NO RUNNING GAME. Ainge is badly overrated, in my opinion.

    5. Zenon will likely make the post-season All-SEC team at corner. He's plenty good enough.
