Another top, top recruit Samantha Mahoney, 5'9 SG, West Bloomfield MI 20 ppg, 7 rpg, 4 apg, 3 bpg. 52% FG Jade Perry, 6'3 C, Greenville KY 21 ppg, 11.5 rpg, 3.5 bpg. Most pressing needs will be at the point where Temeka Johnson has remained firmly established for the past three years. Perhaps Long or Whitfield will emerge as back-ups during this upcoming year but if not, the acquisition of Chaney may be essential. Also, Hodges is by far the best 3 pt. threat on the team. It will be interesting to note if Mitchell, Long, Whitfield or Beirnacka are consistent hitters from beyond the perimeter. Regarding recruits. Fowles is also being recruited by UCONN and Tennsessee which gives you some idea of her potential. Landing her would be huge (in every sense) and she would probably have a starting position almost immediately.
