i just realized that I always hated those 2 days but each year I assumed it was just random. without sports, work days are much longer. any days for that matter. yeah i may need to do some self-reflection. sadly, i recalled most of them as I read down the list.
Golf wasn't mentioned. Its always possible that a rain rely or a playoff could push a tournament into the Monday before the All Star game. Same with a rain delay at a NASCAR race. I don't know if it's ever happened.
Right; that fact should be clarified to say, on those 2 days, no pro sports are scheduled. Makeups for rain outs would be exceptions to the rule.
