Today's DEMOCRATS are modern day Luddites. In the early early 1800's Ned Ludd started a movement against industialation in England. Hippies in the 60's picked this up thinking they would live off the land and turn their back on modern technology, they failed miserably. Today's Amish, Quakers and Minonites are true Luddites.
