This is just ridiculous. There should be a rule against any game starting before AT LEAST 12pm and even that is way too early. Leave morning kickoffs to the Big 10.

I think it's crazy we can't refuse and play night games anyway.

Anybody want to buy some tickets? I wish I could recoup some of my TAF fee this year as it increased yet we have two fewer home games and either one or none for meaningful night games.

You can't charge more than face value for the tickets but is it legal to charge for the TAF fee? I've only missed a couple of games the past decade and have just given the tickets away.

I'm learning from my left-leaning friends in FSA that I need to be greedy and take everything I can get. :D If I'm going to be one of those "evil rich" then I'm going to do it well!

Others do... tack on the TAF fee (I'm not naming any names though ;))

I guess the tv $'s mean more than ticket $'s. A shame when they were just bragging about having sold over 68,000 season tickets for this season....

And they are making the SEC & LSU a sh*tload of money.

Scrap the TV deal and see what it does to the price of tickets.

Be careful what you wish for.

In fairness, I believe this game is on the SEC network. I'm not sure how much revenue each school gets from a conference sponsored network. The BIG money comes from CBS and ESPN.

The SEC network is a part of the ESPN regional television package. In La you get the game on the SEC network. In CO I'll watch it on Altitude Sports.

Bottom line, it's part of the CBS/ESPN contract with the SEC.

As a Tiger who lives out of state, I'm thankful that I get to see my Tigers on TV every week. I know it sucks for tailgating, but I'd be sadder than sad if LSU backed out on TV for night games.

Not that it's going to happen...
