Hart advocates the Picket Plan, which revolves around building wind farms as an alternative to coal-fired electric plants. But in his article "Drilling for Common Sense in Washington" (at the same link) he says,"if there economically viable solutions, the free market would have produced them by now." Wouldn't that include wind power?:huh:
This is why I don't like politics or politicians, our last good president imho was Ronald Reagan. This is the reason our country is in such a mess from illegal imigration to the energy crunch, bad politicians=bad policy. McTiger has a good point, you think the free market would've produced better alternatives up until now but maybe not, people claim big oil has bought off alternative fuels for years, who knows?
